Making of Nugget Reviews - German
Hey guys,
today I'd like to show you how I actually make Nugget-Reviews. I have a small room with my PC, my workshop, and my studio.
I have build up quite a nice setup here and maybe some parts of the video are interesting for you even if you don't speak German at all :)

LRP - The freakin errors with the S10 Bast TX RC-Car
See, there is an appeal to fast cars. I understand why fast cars are great to I try to make my RC-cars as fast as possible.
With regular cars, I mean road going cars, you have certain issues you should consider when upgrading the engine. The gearbox, the drive train and the diff has to be able to handle the power.
On RC-cars on the other hand the user has to rely on stuff that a producer gives us. I'm not able to produce my own gears so I have to wait until the developer sells metal gears instead of the crappy plastic ones.
Now I did upgrade my motor on the RC-car. It broke - together with the controller. Then LRP - to name my developer - sent me an even stronger version of their motor because my old version was not produced anymore. Which is nice!
But there are two problems with that. The controller is not able to handle the power and the car is... not able to handle the power.
With the smallest possible gear on the motor that can be attached to the motor and the car (physically) the motor is still fast and strong enough to break components of the car easiely. So my front diff broke, yesterday, during a five minute run during which my controller overheated and shut down. I don't see how the car will ever run with my components.
It is destined to break.

Borderlands Review - A 3D Diablo-like shooter?
Borderlands was AngryJoes (from the AngryJoeShow) most anticipated game in 2009 with a ton of promised features we know from the Diablo games. But can it really hold up to its ancestors?
Well, some. The problem is to decide if the game is so good to motivate you for weeks, or if its just that little bit too repetitive that it bores you after ten days.... I'm actually not sure myself. I can see why a lot of people like the game, but in my mind they simply could have done more on the details...

Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed Review - Part 1
In this first look I already go into detail. That hass two reasons: First, its much much better than Shift 1 and second, there are still some minor problems...
BTW: The Force Feedback strongly depends on the car you are driving. In a stock state the FFB is kinda weird but plasible and with race cars its much softer and easier to handle. But its good - different to GTR Evolution - but I wouldn't complain about it :)
UPDATE: In the YouTube comments the user Chrissianation suggested the so called minimod that optimizes handling of most of the cars, reduces the "floaty" cars and also decreases the input lag! Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed - More Pre-Release Comments
Hey everybody, thanks for tuning in!
Yesterday, EA released a new trailer for NFS Shift 2 and it seems they read my mind!
The video actually shows a professional race driver using the autolog feature and... a real force feedback steering wheel! tadaaa!

Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed - Additional thoughts...!
Yes I know, I wrote about NFS Shift 2 Unleashed just yesterday, and today again?
I want to make my point very clear...
The game looks absolutely stunning and as I said I bought it already. But because Shift one was such a disapointment for me I'm not willing to take that disapointment again! I have to say that it very well might be a bad drivers experience -> BUT I SO MUCH HOPE IT IS NOT!!!

A warning to Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed
I just watched a couple of interviews with producer of Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed and he sais a couple of interesting things, like physics is very good, simulation based, graphic improvements and other things....
Then I found an interview were the interviewers brought their own FF-wheel to the test drive and it turned out ... they weren't ready for the wheel!! That was at the beginning of February!! It is not possible that they really optimize the game, plus the bugfixing within these two remaining month!!
If the game sucks, and there is a very good chance because of the bad wheel support, my revenge will be most evil! I will be releasing a "why it really sucks" video every single day I play it, until they fix the game to a state they promised us...!

I really don't understand certain developers.
Sometimes there is just that one stupid guy that ruins and spoils all the action. I explain why two of these three games really kick ass and one really does the opposite.

Crysis 2 PC Multiplayer - First Look
Yeah!
Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo is out and I sat down to play a match of team deathmatch... or sort of.
I had a couple of problems during the first startup and I died all the time - but anyway! The game looks awesome and hopefully you see that in my video - still with german comment.

I started this blog because I want to tell people who are willing to listen what I think about certain topics. Usually I talk a lot about games and movies and it seems noone really does that in public. Since I like that very much I now talk to you people to tell you what I think.
